The first order of business is to thank Bill and Stephanie Gates for heading up our annual picnic and all the folks that contributed to a wonderful day! We recognize the gracious hospitality of Kevin and Tammy Patton through numerous efforts and the gi of allowing us all to share in their home. On behalf of the SFA Ch 16 Board and the entire formation, we salute you and feel honored to have you in our lives.

We wanted to take a moment to recognize Mike and Joy Cassidy for 17 years of dedicated service and countless hours carrying the duties of Quartermaster for the chapter. Literally carrying. This is a labor with li le thanks, a lot of work and one we all are indebted to. Next time you see Mike please take a minute to say thank you, shake hands and give Mike and Joy a great big hung. (especially Mike he loves hugs Willi told me so). We are looking for a volunteer to fill our Quartermaster position please get with myself or any board member if you are interested. We are working on fundraising ideas, donor targeting engagements, running a banquet, and are interested in any ideas that the formation to increase our ability to take care of the SF formation. We have a mee ng on 14 Oct at 11:00 in the Regimental Mess Facility at 1st SFG(A) which will be our Oktoberfest come on out see your SF Family and Friends!
